Where Comfort and Care Began

My name is Tyne Smith, and I opened Instant Comfort Home Care LLC in Flint Township in 2021.

My journey into home care began after my grandfather experienced a life-threatening accident. Suddenly placed into the role of caregiver, I found myself navigating an unfamiliar and emotionally demanding chapter filled with challenges, triumphs, and grief.

Through that experience, I came to understand just how essential compassionate home care can be—not only for those receiving support, but also for the families who love them. What began as caring for one family member soon grew into caring for many others throughout our community.

Along the way, I discovered that caregiving was far more profound and impactful than I had ever imagined. Through meaningful connections with clients, families, caregivers, and the shared vision of my cherished colleague, Janet Denson, I gained a deeper understanding that quality care is something many of us may one day depend upon. That realization became the driving force behind the mission and values of Instant Comfort Home Care.

Janet Denson joined Instant Comfort Home Care in 2024, entering the world of caregiving with little prior experience but an open heart and willingness to learn. After building meaningful relationships with both clients and caregivers, she quickly discovered a deep sense of purpose within the field and came to view caregiving as more than a profession—it became a calling.

Since then, JD has become an integral figure within the agency, known for her compassion, responsiveness, and dedication to both client satisfaction and caregiver support. Today, she stands at the forefront of client relations, customer testimonials, caregiver development, and community outreach, helping foster the supportive and people-centered environment that defines Instant Comfort Home Care.
