Advanced Home/ Personal Care (Starting at 100 hours a Month)
Consultation
An initial consult of what services you are seeking and whether Instant Comfort is the right fit for you. We will discuss your goals, needs, and background (if any) with home care experience.
Case Evaluation
A representative will come out to the residence where services will take place and evaluate your needs more clearly to build your plan of care. We will assess:
Personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Mobility and transfer assistance needs
Fall risk observations
Home safety observations
Meal preparation and nutrition preferences
Medication reminders (not administration)
Transportation needs
Cognitive observations (memory concerns, confusion, orientation)
Socialization and companionship needs
Homemaking needs
Emergency contacts and backup plan
Caregiver preferences
Service schedule and goals
3. Matchmaking
Once your consultation and evaluation have been completed, the process of finding your care companion begins. Using the information gathered during our assessment, we carefully review your needs, preferences, personality, schedule, care requirements, and home environment. We then cross-reference those factors with our team of caregivers to identify the individual we believe will be the best fit for you.
Please note: While we strive to make the strongest match possible from the very beginning, we recognize that caregiving is a deeply personal relationship. Compatibility involves more than skills and experience—it also includes personality, communication styles, and comfort level. For that reason, the first caregiver may not always be the perfect fit, and that's okay.
Our commitment to you is that we will continue working diligently until we find a caregiver with whom you feel comfortable, respected, and supported. We believe exceptional care begins with meaningful relationships, and we are dedicated to making every reasonable effort to ensure a successful and lasting match.
4. Services Begin!
You will have the opportunity to meet with your care companion in what we call a Friendly Hand-Off, and services begin with your chosen schedule.
